I served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for the Tribe. I was responsible for every aspect of Tribal governmental and business operations. During my time as Chairman we have reduced our debt, remodeled 2 of our casinos, placed land into trust, completed construction on a 3rd Casino, and Gas station. Agua Caliente employs over 3,000 employees through the following enterprises: Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage, Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs, Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City, Agua Caliente Fuel, Indian Canyons Golf Resorts, Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, and Sec-He (Spa). Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage has consistently won awards, including the prestigious four diamond award from AAA and is on the Forbes list for our Hotel, Steakhouse, and Spa. Agua Caliente was the first Tribe in the United States to acquire the naming rights to an NBA franchise, in the G League, through our partnership with the Los Angeles Clippers, called the Agua Caliente Clippers. As Chairman I supervise the budget process for the Tribe, all Tribal programs, and the hiring and retention of all Tribal government executive employees. Agua Caliente has a low turnover among its employees and believes in developing its staff. During my time the quality of life for Tribal members has increased through the creation of new and innovative programs for them, and an increase in Tribal revenue sharing. I also worked with the local school districts in developing a 3rd and 8th grade curriculum developed by the Tribe that tells our accurate history and culture that is being taught in public schools today. High School is being developed.
